  • What about a Mayan Community?

Map Reservation

In spite of modernization, many Maya communities have succeeded in preserving their identity and their ways, their culture and traditions. This is partly because, throughout their history, the Maya have been confined to a single unbroken area including parts of southern Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, and parts of Honduras and El Salvador.

In this tour, you can interact with Mayan people and know more about their history, customs and traditions. You will be able to cook a pure corn tortilla, see how they make their dresses, and of course, a ceremony to thank their Mayan Gods.

San Juan de Dios is located pass Coba, some 9 kilometers.

This tour includes a visit to Mayan ruins of Coba, a plunge into a cenote, and of course, a visit to a traditional house.
